The Alchemist is an NPC, acting as a vendor and providing quests for the player. He can be found nearly anywhere, including the ocean, in which he'll be found rowing a boat. When the Alchemist fights, he will either use his sword or shoot an arrow off a bow with a random elemental effect. The effects range from any type of arrow, except the Teleportation Arrow.
The Alchemist primarily functions as a merchant. When the player interacts with him, the player will be shown various random tools, weapons, and items that the player can buy from him in exchange for Gold Coins. The items for sale and price for them will vary from one Alchemist to another. Items can not be sold to the Alchemist, making him "buy only" trader.
Quests[]
The Alchemist provides a couple quests required to complete the main quest line, where he'll teach the player how to craft a Bow and some arrows, and then the Health Potion and Mana Potion. When the player completes a certain quest from Paula, he temporarily provides a daily quest. After completing this quest enough times, the player will be rewarded a number of recipes and the daily quest will no longer be available.
